End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machine and is well known in the material handling industry. These machines have great performance features which are quite like sit-down electric forklift models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space required to operate these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications that need frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine utilized by a variety of businesses which maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a way that is efficient and safe.
All standard reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The blades also have a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just offers more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
