Used Caterpillar Reach Stackers Bellevue

A reach stacker is a vehicle meant to handle the movement of containerized cargo in medium and small-sized ports and terminals. Reach stackers are ideal for quickly shuttling containers short distances and stacking them in rows.

Because of their flexibility, reach stackers are a common choice for handling intermodal cargo containers. They can stack higher than forklift trucks. With a reach stacker capable of second row access, container blocks can be kept four-deep.

Designed just to handle empty containers is a different type of stacker.

Types of Forklift Reach
Generally used on construction sites is a type of forklift known as forklift reach. It is equipped with a boom and very large tires that provide great stability on uneven terrain. The forklift reach comes in the following variations:

The Stand-Up Reach includes a narrow width making it appropriate for racked pallet storage.

The Straddle Reach has hydraulic-like scissors attachments and outriggers attached at the front.

The Double-Deep Reach is outfitted with an extended reach device which allows the storage of pallets in double-deep racks.
