Use a Pneumatic Forklift
Pneumatic forklifts are common in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used to move materials and things around on wooden pallets using metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which could lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single person.
To prevent loosing control while raising heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated carefully. Machine should be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make certain that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet should be carefully stacked in order to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To be able to lower the forks and release air in the pump, squeeze the lever found on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you because the momentum can cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop abruptly. Slowly come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
